Call for the Antifa Camp 2025
With Trump’s election in the US, Milei in Argentina, and the growing authoritarian regimes in Turkey, Russia and Hungary, global relations of domination and exploitation have increased and become more intense. Militarization, fascism, anti-feminism and the destruction of ecosystems are on the rise, worsening and endangering our lives.
In Austria we have only just slipped past a right-wing government at federal level and are experiencing an increase in right-wing street violence. The racist policies of the local governments with participation of the FPÖ are just a foreshadowing of things to come.
Confronting this reality, we see the urgent need to build up an transnational anti-fascist movement capable of overcoming domination and hierarchy and to unite in solidarity and in the struggle for a social & ecological future.
Come to the second Antifa Camp in Carinthia/Koroška and network and educate yourselves with other antifascists. Whether city or country, whether Austria or beyond – we want to exchange ideas about local challenges, experiences and strategies and are looking forward to your contributions.

Call for content
The Antifascist Camp is in its second round – and this year we warmly invite you to shape the program together with us! From July 24 to 29, we want to spend six days learning, discussing, arguing – and dreaming together. For this we need your contribution.
This year, the focus will be on these topics:
- Partisan history & local initiatives
- Activism under authoritarian and right-wing governments
- Utopias – anti-fascism as a vision

1. Partisan history & local initiatives
We especially call on people from Carinthia/Koroška and neighbouring regions with partisan history to contribute their perspectives and experiences! We are interested in the local history of anti-fascist resistance, from organized movements to individual actions. But we don’t just want to discuss history – we want to analyze it, question it and think it through: What can we learn from the struggle against fascism and Nazism? How can past practices and strategies be applied to current conditions?
2. Activism under authoritarian and right-wing governments
In many countries – including Austria – activism is increasingly criminalized, restricted and threatened. How do we deal with this? How do we organize ourselves despite repression? This topic aims to provide space for the exchange of experiences, knowledge transfer and strategic discussions – whether about working in exile, everyday life in an authoritarian context or solidarity-based counter-strategies. Contribute your perspectives, share experiences, skills or analyses and help to weave a resistance network!
3. Utopias – anti-fascism as a vision
Anti-fascism is more than resistance – it is also hope, imagination and lived solidarity. We want to discuss together: What utopias inspire us? What can pluralistic societies based on solidarity look like? What does an anti-authoritarian, socialist future actually look like? Whether theoretical inputs, artistic formats, personal visions or collective experiments – show us your utopias and bring them to the camp!

Send in your programme idea
You are invited to develop programme ideas for this year’s focal points and send us your proposals. Whether it’s a workshop, discussion, lecture or something completely different – we look forward to a wide range of contributions!
Presentations should not last longer than 60 minutes. We would like to see a lively discussion culture and program items that are as interactive as possible. We welcome suggestions for concepts that enable as many people as possible to actively participate.
In addition to the content of the programme, this year we also want to give space to networking at the camp. So if you have any ideas on how we can strengthen exchange and cooperation – be it in the form of special networking assembly, informal formats or joint activities – please let us know until 1st of June.
